The SAGT Geography Challenge Quiz (formerly known as the Worldwise Quiz) is open to teams from secondary schools in Scotland.  Teams should consist of three pupils, one each from S1, S2 and S3. Teams will compete in a local heat and the winning team and runner up from each local (local heats will be held before Easter) will be expected to travel to a Scottish final taking place in May (Currently at a venue to be confirmed).

We do not want locale to be a barrier to participation and should distance be a potential barrier we are consulting on the application form for suggestions on which platform will best suit teams to participate remotely.

Travel expenses will be available for teams travelling further than 40 miles to heats or final. The winning team from the Scottish final will be asked to represent Scotland in a challenge weekend competition run by the Geographical Association. Entries for the 2022/23 Quiz are now open. 

Applications should be submitted by – Friday 23rd December 2022.
